Temple island Reached by a short boat trip, Temple Island is located in the middle of the River Thames near Henley. Fawsley Hall Hotel, Northamptonshire. Historic Fawsley hall dates back to the 15th century and was built by the Knightley family. Now fully restored as a glorious country hotel. Choose from the main house or the old stable block which has been converted to Knightley Court for weddings and conferences. The main house is also available on an exclusive basis which allows the use of the Great Hall for a civil ceremony. Fawsley Hall is one of my regular venues. Burgh Island Hotel, Devon. An impressive art deco hotel located on a tidal island in Devon. The hotel is reached by sea tractor when the tide is in. Civil ceremonies take place in a room which overlooks the bay. The wedding breakfast takes place in the ball room. Swinfen Hall Hotel, Staffordshire. An impressive 18th century manor house near Lichfield. Swinfen Hall has now been restored and converted to a hotel. A very large and impressive ball room is used for the wedding breakfast. Smaller rooms are used for civil ceremonies. Reportage wedding photography by Simon Atkins. What is reportage wedding photography ? It is a way of photographing a wedding without setting up any of the photographs (documentary style). The photographer stays in the background and photographs events as they happen without any prompting. The advantage of reportage photography for the couple is they can spend more time with their wedding guests. This style of photography shows the atmosphere of the wedding and is non intrusive. The photographs are taken in a mixture of black & white and colour, telling the story of the day as it unfolds.
