Temple island Reached by a short boat trip, Temple Island is located in the middle of the River Thames near Henley. Fawsley Hall Hotel, Northamptonshire. Historic Fawsley hall dates back to the 15th century and was built by the Knightley family. Now fully restored as a glorious country hotel. Choose from the main house or the old stable block which has been converted to Knightley Court for weddings and conferences. The main house is also available on an exclusive basis which allows the use of the Great Hall for a civil ceremony. Fawsley Hall is one of my regular venues. Burgh Island Hotel, Devon. An impressive art deco hotel located on a tidal island in Devon. The hotel is reached by sea tractor when the tide is in. Civil ceremonies take place in a room which overlooks the bay. Swinfen Hall Hotel, Staffordshire. An impressive 18th century manor house near Lichfield. Swinfen Hall has now been restored and converted to a hotel. A very large and impressive ball room is used for the wedding breakfast.
