Wedding Photography by Simon Atkins
Simon Atkins is a specialist wedding photojournalist
whose passion for wedding photography is evident in the images he creates.
Simon uses a documentary style of photography to capture the unrehearsed
moments that make unforgettable photographs from your wedding. This
style of photography is sometimes called reportage wedding photography,
although Simon prefers wedding photojournalism as this better describes
what he does. Simon's background was in newspaper photography.
Simon will capture your wedding day with the eye of a true
photojournalist,
from the nervous anticipation to jubilant smiles. Arriving at the
preparations and staying often until the dancing in the evening, Simon
photographs the entire wedding day. Simon also captures all the small
details from your wedding, including your wedding dress, flowers & table
details. The photographs are taken in a mixture of black & white and
colour. Photographs from the wedding ceremony capture the emotions
of the bridal party. Later in the day, Simon blends in with your
wedding guests and captures the atmosphere of your reception. Simon
will never take over your day, he prefers to document the wedding without
setting up the photographs. He is happy to take a handful of group
photographs which usually take no more than twenty minutes.
The wedding photographs are presented in fantastic Queensberry albums from
New Zealand. Each page in the album tells the story of your wedding day.
Your photographs are displayed online for your friends & family to view
(you can choose a password to keep them private). High resolution
files are available on CD to enable you to make your own prints from the
photographs.
Simon was recently listed as one of the top 10
wedding photographers in the UK. Simon is based in Northamptonshire and is available for wedding photography
throughout the UK and Europe. Some recent venues overseas include
Venice, Ireland and Menorca. Simon has also worked at many venues
